 Cycle & Cruise - Southern RouteDepartures:  05 May through 19 October 2019
Route: Trogir - Stomorska - Stari Grad - Jelsa - Vrboska - Hvar - Vela Luka - Blato - Pupnat - Kor?ula - Sumartin - Pu?iš?a - Omiš - Cetina River Canyon - Split - Marjan - Trogir

Our cycle-tours in Southern Dalmatia, which is the smallest and most sparsely populated region of Croatia, will take us past unique little towns and the beautiful island countryside. These tours will let us experience the beautiful island of Kor?ula with its picturesquely situated old township and the beautiful lavender island of Hvar. Stroll around Hvar town with its mighty fortress and enjoy the calmness of the artist’s town Stari Grad. Our tour guide explains us the towns of Trogir, Hvar, Stari Grad and Kor?ula, which are almost all protected under UNESCO‘s World Heritage list. This tour is occasionally offered parallel to the mountain bike cruise in Southern Dalmatia on the same boat. In this case one tour guide will cycle with the mountain bikers while the other will accompany the hybrid cyclists. Due to changing wind and weather conditions as well as organizational requirements the tour could be conducted in reverse order.

Returned last week from Europe, and just writing to let you know how wonderful the Cycle Sail Croatia trip was. Really good boats and crew and the scenery was just fantastic, clear blue azure waters, lots of rocky hills to challenge our gear changing skills, beautiful people, villages, wine and food all adds up to very happy memories. Thanks for organising it and making it available to us. The Katarina line of boats were the best value, and being privately owned and run by the family made for a lovely atmoshphere on the boat.
Thanks again

Ann-Marie and Kevin Evans. Tauranga

I am finally getting a moment to write to you with news of our fantastic trip. We both had the best time ever, and being with like minded active younger people was the most amazing way to have an adventure. I was so thrilled that all my hard work put in during the winter on my fitness paid off.  The islands are quite hilly, so biking was quite hard on the uphills, but great on the downs, and they were having the hottest September on record, so the warm days were just super for us.
Many thanks for everything

Carole and Phyllis. Christchurch
