Thank you so much for leading the South Island trip we have just finished. Thanks to your excellent leadership and detailed organisation everything was so good. As the oldest in the group and the least able walker I did appreciate how you took care of me and made sure I still had a good time.
Please will you pass on my thanks to Steve also. He was very kind to me and took extra care with things like lifting my bag and walking with me at the end of the pack.

A Guided week on Niue, packed to the gunnels with holiday adventures on a bike.
Join us to explore the treasures both on and under the land, on and under the sea. Niue is a rugged Island suited for rugged individuals who enjoy taking things up a level from the ‘relaxed Island holiday’.
Steve Newport & Andrea Livingston (combined visits 18+) host an action packed week of Niue highlights, back stories and hidden treasures. Exploring by bike. Enjoy swimming, snorkelling, eating, trail & rock walks, cave discoveries, big fish, big mammals, land crabs, games and challenges.
We’ll have time for arts, Niue traditions and warm welcoming locals. Swim the gin-clear waters, cycle the 25° breeze, drink the 5° beer, bring home photos fit for National Geographic!

Our Bike Adventure Itinerary
SAT 15 August DEPART AUCKLAND to ALOFI (Arrive FRI 14 August)
On arrival at Alofi Airport, we will be met and transferred to our Cabins at the Matavai. Evening is at leisure to acclimatise and unwind. BBQ Dinner.
SAT 15 August
Choose our bikes and set out for a morning orientation ride in the main town and continue on to our first swim and explore. Picnic lunch. Our afternoon is our first of many Island hikes, an afternoon ice cream and a ride back to base.
SUN 16 August
Sunday is a rest day in the Islands. Our morning will be very chill and a choice of activity around our base. After lunch we ride some off-road track and head to the bottom of the island for some afternoon snorkelling followed by a hot meal at the unique Washaway café and late evening drinks.
MON 17 August
Our first Boating window for those wishing to dive, snorkel or swim with Whale out with one of the local companies. Those not going to sea, we have some land-based biking choices or cultural tours around the Island. Dinner out tonight at one of Niue’s iconic restaurants.
TUE 18 August
A second morning on the water, swapping groups around. The afternoon is a full afternoon of bike exploring, hikes, caves and water caverns. A night ride (with lights) to look for uga and experience Niue’s Dark Sky secrets may be on the cards. A BBQ at home base tonight.
WED 19 August
A full day on the bikes heading north to various tidal walks, snorkelling and stunning swimming holes. We have a cafe lunch today. Then further Swimming and exploring, we will mix n match depending on weather, tides and interest. Dinner tonight at the Resort.
THU 20 August
A final Boating window for those wishing to experience the ‘deep’ one last time. Outing with one of the local companies. Those not going to sea, we have some land-based tour choices of Plantation tour, Vanilla Farm tour, Garden tour or Ebony carving tour. Spa and massage services also available. Thirsty Thursday Happy Hour.
Return bike hire this evening and continue out for a pool-side dinner.
FRI 21 August DEPART ALOFI to AUCKLAND (SAT 22 August)
After breakfast we pack and farewell, drive to the airport, check our luggage in and obtain boarding passes. Then head back into town for a café lunch, coffees and any last minute shopping. Fill the van with fuel and drive back to the airport by 1:00pm.
